Fabian Perezis a world-class painter from Buenos Aires, Argentina who now resides in Los Angeles, California. He is recognized at the international level as one of the best portrait painters of the century. After growing up in a brothel, he left his hometown Campana at the age of 20. He travelled the world for several years, while also refining and developing the artistic talent he inherited from his mother. Over the years, he has explored many different paths in his search for greater self-expression and artistic truth. He has been identified by members of the arts community as the best contemporary figurative artist of his generation.
In 2009 Perez was named the official artist of the 10th annual Latin Grammy Awards. Perez also was selected to paint the 2010 Winter Olympic and 2012 Summer Olympic Games. In 2011, he designed the trophy for the best player of the Soccer American Cup that took place in Argentina. It was given to Luis Suarez from Uruguay. That same year he collaborated with the Leo Messi Foundation to create a portrait of Leo with the Argentina team jersey. A copy of the painting was subsequently bestowed on the Argentine Government. He has been commissioned to paint some of the most important and influential people in the world. Including Pope Francis, and the President of Argentina.
